The Skills Training Program provides volunteers with the knowledge, confidence, and hands-on experience needed to steward Alabama’s public lands safely and effectively. Through guided trainings and field-based learning, participants build practical outdoor skills, learn best practices for conservation work, and become stronger leaders in the effort to protect Alabama’s wild places.
