citizen science

Wild Alabama’s Citizen Science programs invite volunteers to take an active role in protecting Alabama’s public lands through hands-on research and monitoring. By collecting real-world data on forests, trails, and waterways, participants help strengthen conservation efforts, support responsible land management, and deepen our shared understanding of Alabama’s wild places.
