About The Event
April is Earth Month! To celebrate, Wild Alabama is hosting a Kickoff event for the 100 Alabama Miles Challenge. This challenge is Statewide and encourages Alabamians to hike or walk outdoors - 100 miles in 30 days, beginning on April 25th. We will plan to do a visit to Kinlock Falls and Parker Falls on April 25th. The total hiking mileage will be around 4.5 miles roundtrip. We will encourage participants to stay for both parts of the day, with the option to leave after seeing the first Waterfall if they need to leave early.
Snacks will be provided by Wild Alabama Staff, but participants will need to bring their own lunches and water for the day. Participants will need to be prepared for a shallow creek crossing.
