About The Event

Saturate the Sipsey Wilderness Ranger Patrols

Sipsey Wilderness

Saturday, February 07

Time: 8:30 a.m.- 3 p.m.

Patrol Leader Lindsay Madison lindsay@wildal.org

Join fellow Volunteer Wilderness Rangers for a patrol in the Sipsey Wilderness and help preserve this beautiful natural area.  Patrol duties include cleaning fire rings, collecting trash, clearing trail obstructions, and documenting areas that need attention. We also learn how to connect with wilderness visitors, provide guidance on the Leave No Trace principles, and share the area's history. These activities help maintain the wilderness for future generations while protecting its ecological integrity.
