Wild Alabama Receives Arts Grant For Conservation Through Art Program

Wild Alabama is thrilled to announce the award of a grant from the Alabama State Council on the Arts to support the expansion of our Conservation Through Art program started in November 2023 with the Saving Alabama’s Hemlocks art and poetry exhibit and programs.

Conservation Through Art: Saving Alabama’s Hemlocks moved across Alabama from Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment in Huntsville, to the Walker County Arts Alliance, to the Gadsden Museum of Art, and to the Little Rock Building on Highway 195 in Double Springs, Alabama for the final show. This exhibit opens in early November and runs through early December.  Exact dates coming soon.

We will be launching the exhibit and programs for 2025 in the Conservation Through Art: 50 Years of the Eastern Wilderness Act in Alabama. Look for news on that soon.
