Alabama is having a first ever conference for folks interested in Nature schools. It will be held at Camp McDowell on August 12-14, 2022. Wild Alabama is happy to be helping to sponsor and support this amazing new organization...ANTS (Alabama Nature Teachers and Schools). Wild Alabama's mission is to inspire people to ENJOY, VALUE and PROTECT the wild places of Alabama. Where better to start sharing the love of the wild and teaching the value of it than through nature-based education!
We will be gathering August 12-14, 2022 at wonderful, wonderful Camp McDowell to learn from each other and from David Sobel. Part of this conference will be Open Space Agenda, where we all bring our questions and discussions to the table. David will not only be our Keynote speaker, but also conduct a workshop getting us up out of our seats and out into nature!
David Sobel, author of many books and articles on nature learning and place-based education
